Kidding, except for just a couple more, is pretty much over, the chickens are still laying like crazy and the rabbits are doing better than ever!

Things on the Farm are changing.

Although more and more of the general public are becoming educated about the sources of their food and are discovering what true quality is, making demand for what I produce go through the roof, I have been forced to downsize.

What this means to you?

If you are an existing customer, it means you will have to implement, on a regular basis, the practice of ordering as far ahead as possible in order to be assured of receiving your order; just as you have been required to do in the past during busy times of the year.
If you are a new customer, you too will have to be prepared to order your desired products from my farm as early as possible in order to have the best opportunity to receive the products you would like in a timely manner.

Why this change?

I will not compromise quality, PERIOD.
     After trying for over two years to find reliable help for the farm, either part time or full time, live on the farm help, and being ENTIRELY unsuccessful, I GIVE UP! I can find NO ONE who cares about my business as I do. Evidently, there must be no one who feels as passionately as I do about the vital importance of producing the VERY BEST in all I do. If I do not want to serve what I produce to my own family, including my Grandchildren, I will NOT sell it! To maintain that type of quality takes attention to detail and a refusal to cut corners that potentially compromise quality.
     I am in the process of evaluating just how many milkers, laying hens, meat rabbits, and heritage hogs I can successfully maintain to MY standards pretty much by myself. I know I could quadruple my production and sell everything I produced if I maintained a larger herd, but I cannot properly manage a farm of that scale without additional help.
     I love my farm. I love my animals, ALL of them. I LOVE what I do for a living. I will continue to do it as long as I am physically able.
     For anyone who simply does not understand what is involved in running this place every day, PLEASE come out to the farm and volunteer for a day, even a half day. Your eyes will be opened by the experience of even a tiny part of what it takes to keep this place going.
     Regardless of rain, sleet, hail, snow, drought, flood, tornado, colds, flu, Christmas day, or family emergencies (the heart-wrenching call from the hospital at 3AM), the milking and tending of the other animals happens morning and evening, EVERY DAY. Add customer relations, delivery routes, and the farmers market; never mind eating ONE decent meal, taking a shower, washing a load of clothes, or vacuuming the floor; and no wonder I never see my husband unless I look over while he's snoring next to me as I crawl into bed at midnight or later.
     I am NOT asking for sympathy, just a little understanding! My ENTIRE LIFE goes into producing the highest quality raw goats' milk, farm fresh eggs, domestically raised meat rabbits, and heritage pork. My main focus is educating the general public in what raw goats milk SHOULD be: clean, odorless, and fresh for up to three weeks when produced and handled correctly. Maintaining top quality in what I produce is all I do, and I love it.

I milk my goats every day, twice a day (approx. every 12 hours), year-round.

     My goats milk is sold on the farm, by appointment, for $6.00 per half gallon, or $7.00 delivered. Eggs are $6.00 per-dozen and rabbit is $8.00 per pound. I deliver all of my farm products anywhere within a 50 mile radius of the farm for a minimum order of 5 gallons of milk, 12 dozen eggs, or $70.00 worth of rabbit, or any combination that equals the minimum of $70.00. If you want to add on to an already existing delivery site, or would like to meet me along one of my already existing delivery routes, there is no minimum order.

     It still may take a day or two, though, for you to hear back from me. Your business IS important to me. If you haven't heard back from me in a reasonable amount of time, please try again. I am only one person, and I am the one doing the milking, bottling, labeling, packaging, scheduling, and delivering, as well as running the rest of the farm. My days start early and end very late. Your business is important to me, but I may not be able to get to my messages every day (by phone or email). Saturday is my busiest day of the week and I usually do NOT get a chance to check messages reliably (phone or email) on Saturdays. We are closed for all business on Sunday. So, if you call or email on a Friday evening, it could easily be Monday or Tuesday of the following week before you hear back from me. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Every other Tuesday:
to McLendon Avenue NE next to the Candler Park Market at 1PM

On the alternating Tuesday:
out I-20 West to Exit 37 at 1PM and then Exit 36 at approximately 1:45PM

Every Thursday:
to "Lupa's Kitchen" in the Serendipity shopping center (4448 Tilly Mill Road, Atlanta GA 30360) at 1:00 to 1:30 PM.

and to “Caly Road Creamery” (227 Hilderbrand Drive NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328) around 2:15 to 2:45 PM

Every Saturday:

Pre-ordering for milk is HIGHLY recommended!!!

January through March at the WINTER Marietta Farmers Market located adjacent to the Marietta square on Mill Street in front of Cool Beans Cafe from 10AM till 1PM

April through November at the regular Marietta Farmers Market held on the square in Marietta from 9AM till noon.
