2010 Summer Updates:

Check out our day to day life on the CMT show “Worlds Strictest Parents”. We were a host family for two teens for a week. You can watch the show, and see my wonderful goats and family at:

Raw Goats Milk:
The dairy is licensed for the sale of Raw Goats Milk for PET CONSUMPTION ONLY .
We milk every day, twice a day (approx. every 12 hours), year-round.

Our milk is sold on the farm for $5.00 per half gallon

Milk Delivery Fees:
I deliver milk anywhere within a 50 mile radius of the farm for a minimum order of 5 gallons. We are located aprox. 35 miles southeast of Atlanta, so we have a large area we will deliver to.

Delivery fee is $1.00 per half gallon extra (Total delivered price is $6.00 per half gallon) within this 50 mile radius of the farm.

If you can't make it to one of the Farmers Markets, or down to the farm, and you don't need five gallons, you can tack a smaller order onto a current delivery location. Minimum orders have already been met for these, so you are free to order as little as one half gallon for pick-up at one of these locations.

Current deliveries every week are:

Every other Tuesday to exit #36 on I-20 West

Wednesdays at 1PM to Progressive Medical at 4646 North Shallowford Road, Atlanta GA 30338

Thursdays at 10AM at West Paces Ferry Road off the I-75 exit in the Publix parking lot between the OK Cafe and Starbucks.

Our milk is also available at a number of farmers markets around Atlanta. Market price per half gallon is the same as delivered price, $6.00 per half gallon.

I do sell out early, so to guarantee that I will have milk for you I strongly recommend calling or e-mailing ahead to reserve your order for a market.

Whistle Stop Farmers Market in Norcross, every Tues. from 4 PM to 8 PM

NOTICE!!!
To contact me for milk, eggs, rabbits, or any other inquiry about our farm, please call our home #770-954-1167 or e-mail me at nyrlerealgoats@att.net . Even if you have acquired my cell number PLEASE do NOT leave me messages or text me on that number. I do not get these messages regularly as I only have my cell phone on when I am actually on a delivery or attending a market, and many times messages never go through on my cell number for days and even weeks. I always get my messages on the home number, but you will probably have to leave a message as I am hardly ever by the phone. E-mail is always best as I do check my e-mail multiple times throughout the day, and can easily answer these very late at night when I get a minute to myself without waking anybody either at my house or yours. Thank you for your understanding.

********** About The Farm **********

Prices are FIRM:

We know the economy is rather tight, but please do not try to haggle milk prices, egg prices, or any other products we intermittently offer from our farm. We work VERY long hours with no days off, no sick leave, no vacation, and at present, no pay over expenses. If you are happy to pay Wal-Mart prices for eggs and milk, then PLEASE got there and purchase it. The products they offer as well as other retail outlets are not what you will find on our farm. You will not find the DEAD milk and flavorless eggs here. Our eggs are fresh, from healthy chickens who live for many, many years. Our milk is produced from our beloved herd of Saanens whom we care for diligently every day from birth onward. We do NOT cut corners in feed, housing, or day to day care. Our expenses are MUCH higher than a big commercial dairy due to quality standards that I have set and I will not compromise to try and make a dollar. Our customers are people who VALUE quality, insist on knowing the origin of their desired product, and want as little time and distance as possible between their home and where it was grown, harvested, or milked. People learn a small portion of our lifestyle and say “ How can you work that hard every day?”. Well, we love our lifestyle, but that does NOT mean we function as philanthropists and wish to give away everything we work so very hard every day for, and then cannot put gas in our own vehicles. We are a SMALL family farm. I do not have employees, or even volunteers to help here. Every chore, task, and job here is done by me, my daughter, or my already overworked, but very accommodating, husband. So, please understand why our prices are set and non-negotiable.

I'm done venting now.

Now, about the farm:

Robinson Family Farm is a small family owned and operated, diversified homestead. We have been at our McDonough, GA location since 1991, and have had goats for over 20 years. NYRLE Real Goats Dairy is part of this farm, and has been state licensed and running since 1997. Our milk is licensed for PET consumption ONLY. We sell Fresh, RAW, whole, goats milk. We encourage our customers to come out and see the animals, facility, and milking parlor so they know first hand the health of our animals, the level of care they receive, and last, but NOT least, the CLEANLINESS of our parlor. We strive to produce a CLEAN and WHOLESOME product. We prefer customers who want to know were things come from and demand quality in what they buy.

All of our goats are registered Saanen dairy goats. We were on standard DHIA test from 1997 through 2005, and have linear appraised off and on through the years. Our milkers have won multiple top ten awards in the past, specifically butterfat, which averages 3.8 to 4.2 %. We believe in taking the best care of our animals so they will produce for us for many years.

The entire herd is Certified and Accredited. This means they have been tested and consistently (year after year) found NEGATIVE for both Tuberculosis AND Brucellosis! This testing is VERY important for ALL dairy animals! Our entire herd is also CAE (Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis) negative (re-tested biannually), and we are participants in the National Scrapie program. We pride ourselves in maintaining healthy animals.

We have shown our goats on a National level in years past, and plan to get back into showing locally. Showing our animals is how we get time off the farm as a family, and we enjoy getting together with our “goatie” friends that we only get to see at the shows.

We have always had a garden, poultry, and honey bees, and are now offering their products on a seasonal basis to our customers. Vegetables and herbs as they are in season, fresh eggs, and raw honey with the comb.

We also breed Pedigreed Californian Meat Rabbits.
Please check individual pages for details on what our farm has to offer.

We welcome you to come out and see the farm.

Groups are welcome by appointment.

Sincerely:

The Robinson Family

Jeff, Yvonne, and Tori
